Did amazon sell me used metroplex?

I’ve never seen these items before so I don’t know if this is how they come. I bought two NEW items to medicate my fish. One is focus the other metroplex and both are by seachem. Does anyone know if the bottle of metro comes this empty or is this a used or previously open bottle of metro?

There's usually a wafer-seal on the box - was it broken?

What do the product weight labels say? I think Seachem may use the same size bottle for different quantities of the various products.

There was a seal and it all looked new. Without a digital scale it’s hard for me to tell if they weigh the same. Says I t’s only a half gram in both bottles here. Both are powder so it’s hard to tell if they weigh the same just by looking at it

Just took a look at my own bottles; both are five-grams, but the Focus is "fluffier", and its bottle appears much more full, as yours does.

I appreciate the response time guys! Looks like 2 metro to 1 focus would be a better buy for the long haul. I think they sell a three pack like that. Now I see why

I'll just submit that I HATE their bottle & the measuring spoon attached to the cap. And someone needs to include a spoon leveling scraping surface like you see on a can of baking powder.

I agree the spoon fell off my second time using it haha not the best first experience so far but if it works... ehhh

At least you aren't trying to use it to collect a stool sample, lol. These are just about the exact bottles we give pet owners to bring a sample in for intestinal parasite screens.
