Got a little temporary QT set up with about 30 gallons to quarantine some corals and inverts. Got two anemones (bubble tip and purple tip Cond) about two weeks ago. Put two peppermint shrimp in the QT at the same time. Shrimp did good for a while, but realized today I hadn't seen them in three or four days. Not much rock work in the tank so I moved it all around looking for them and found nothing, no body or anything. Is it likely one of the anemones ate both the shrimp?? not really sure what else could have happened to them.

I've never heard of it or seen it...peppermint shrimp are known to crawl into an anemone and steal food from it.

My peps will crawl into my bta and steal food. Peps are also know for eating lps, and anemones.

There is a worm of some sort living under one of the rocks, white, maybe 4" long. Could he be the possible culprit? That seems like a stretch to me tho, the shrimp were both maybe 2" long. There are only like 4 pieces of rock in the tank, so not that many hiding places
