Did Facebook rip off Ecotech's Mobius logo with their new name?

Unless I’ve missed something, ecotechs logo has a fish which very very vaguely resembles the Xbox controller-esque shape meta adopted.

not trying to be argumentative. Just don’t see it but then I’m not an ecotech guy beyond the used vectra I got.

also, Facebook/Meta is 100+x bigger than any of the companies which are big names in our hobby. So yeah. Wouldn’t rule something crazy like this out in these quasi-dystopian days. But it would be an absolutely bizarre choice to rip off to try and gain more recognition

Zucker can take his "metaverse" and cram it...

I’m surprised Facebook hasn’t fallen out of the spotlight yet like MySpace. Most of the stuff that Facebook used to be used for are part of instagram now

When you watch the animation of the logo spinning, it cycles past Mobius' angle quite a few times.

I think infinity's mad at both of them.
