Did I crack my tank??

From many of these replies it appears that the safest solution would be getting the new tank. Yes $180 isnt cheap. I have also reached out to waterbox regarding the issue. This was a classroom tank so I am hoping for some sympathy. Do you think there would be anyone who would want the tank with the "crack" (I dont really have a dollar amount here other than shipping) with maybe the intention of putting the glass panel over the base?

Paul B nailed it. Silicone in a 1/4" piece of glass and call it a day. Super easy and won't be crazy expenisve

1. I've done this with numerous tanks (even 40 50 and 75 gallon tanks - where I've bought a 1/4 inch piece of glass covering the whole bottom it works fine - with no danger. Just make sure you clean the glass carefully.
2. Why on earth would a 20 gallon tank cost $180? (I'm assuming its an entire system. In THAT case and the bottom is not completely square (i.e. if there is an overflow, etc) - the silicone on the bottom may not work quite as well?
