Did I get a berghia hitchhiker?

Just sucked this guy off my TBS rock. Is it a Berghia nudibranch? Safe to keep or get rid of it? I don't have aiptasia currently, although looks like I have a few curliques.

Look to be the same family but i don't recall seeing the yellow tips on the ones I've ordered before. Put it near an aptasia and see if it eats it.

I have a few zoas. Probably coming out of the rocks finally to have a look around for tasty corals?

Could be Berghia rissodominguezi, which have yellowish tips (stalks aren't dark, though) and orange lines.

Or possibly B. verrucicornis.

I understand they would starve in any case with no aiptasia to eat.

It is coloring up a bit. I'm thinking more and more it is B. rissodominguezi. No info online about what these guys eat.

Could be a monti eater.
Better safe than sorry when it comes to the unknown imo.

I don't think it's a monti eater, those have more ribbed cerata (back-hairs)

You could offer up some sacrificial zoa to see if it touches it or not and wait to source some aiptasia from somewhere

I wouldn't toss it yet, just keep it in a cup or box where it can't escape into the tank

No sense in flushing money (and a living being) if it turns out to be beneficial berghia

Very likely at least in the genus, but hard to say for sure. I got a similar creature from some macroalgae from Florida, so it's certainly very possible.
