Ok so I am really dumb and didn’t do research for glueing rocks together for my aqua scape. I came up with a scale I liked and decided I need to glue the pieces together to support some overhangs.. I used some stand aquarium super glue but then I needed to fill some bigger gaps ans used Gorilla glue 100% silicon but it says mildew resistant and after I glued everything I read it’s not recommended for submersion.... any advice kind words or ideas of what I should do?

thanks guys

The silicones that have mold inhibitors are generally not considered safe for aquarium use. I would get it off of there. Maybe wait for it to cure and then peel it off?

+1

Once it hardens it actually can snap off pretty easy under human force.

Good advice above, silicone with mold inhibitors are absolutely no go for aquarium use. Let dry and remove from the rock, hopefully it peels off pretty clean however you might need to chisel small bits off. Directly from Gorilla glues website..

This is definitely more meant for the fact it won't hold an aquarium together but it will absolutely kill anything living that you attempt to add to your aquarium as well...

Don't worry, we've all had our hard knocks in the hobby, atleast you have caught yours early and can fix it. Beautiful scape BTW I hope you can manage to put it.all back when you're done :)

Thanks guys.... ya I put a lot on there to hahahaha owell will get it pulled apart hopefully.... what should I use to get it to stay together then or would you suggest

For a structure like that you could use hydraulic cement such as Marco E400, Aquaforest Stone Fix or epoxy sticks, both will work long term and are reef safe
