For a very short time when I got my new tank, I was running the Coralife 48 Inch Aqualight Pro 2x150W HQI MH Lamp + 2x96W PC + 3x1W Lunar LED. And because of the cost of running the unit, I switched to LED. And it just seems like I have lost all the color from my coral. My Chalices and other LPS don't seem to pop like they used to. But it is funny that they seem to have better growth.

Anyone else have this issue, or am I a crazy person?

Ah my friend your just being tricked by your eyes. This wouldnt seem to be a reefing question but more of a light spectrum question
What your experiencing is different shades of light. Its almost like putting on a shirt you think looks awesome and when you get outside it looks terrible. Different light spectrums produce different shades of colors to our eyes. This is why people like the blue colored lights they make colors pop more than the broad white light ive noticed alot of purpleish lights to which seem to pop colors. Differently. If you have increased growth they must be doing just fine. Try adding blue leds or reduce your lighting idk how :~)

What LED's did you switch to? I noticed much better coloration and growth when I switched to LED. It could be that the LED's aren't dialed in perfectly yet.
