SO I got a apex trident and watched the whole setup video and I cut my tubes a little shorter because they were excessively long. it didn't tell me I shouldn't cut them until right at the end of video. any reason for it?

Hey man so I just found on there website under QA that you don't wanna cut tubes because it leads to inaccurate readings. so bummed because they did not make me aware until end of set up video!

Well, the first thing they say on the setup instructions is not to cut the sample line. If you only cut the sample line, you can swap it with the waste one. If you cut both, buy a replacement sample line from Neptune they say that Trident may not work properly if the sample line is cut

I just rewatched the video again and it did not mention not to cut tube until after they were done connecting unit, not a big deal just disappointed so far with the quality of instructions.

Sorry that you did not follow the get started guide:

A few paragraphs down there is a red warning about the sample line.

On my point of view Neptune is doing a great job on step by step instructions. Try to setup AI 16 HD lights using the Android app.....

I wouldn't blame it on the video, they do sell replacement ones.
