Did i screw up cutting my Minecraft Mushroom?

Anyone ever cut a JF minecraft mushroom?
Here it is before I cut it about 4.5"

Heres the Mama seems to be ok healing up..

Heres the other side. Cut her right in half it's been 5 days or so!

Kinda bummed as this was by far my favorite coolest, fastest growing, most healthy mushroom and I have a nice collection of high end bounce mushrooms now!
All good?

I believe it should be fine, if it wasn’t it would have melted or lost all color by now.

If you got equal parts mouth and foot it should be okay, some take a while to heal

Right on was just checking the pic of other half and i can see vesicles are inflated in pic. Cant see it up close. i have moved it to table and turned down lamps. Hope she makes it!

Thanks Acro i went right through the mouth quite easily. Not sure how much foot I got does it matter?

Thank you felt like the right thing to do! The mom side did expel brown poop and figured it was too much lamp.
Im at 10@ lamp across the board now! Moms in quiet dark spot in original table looks like she will be ok.

My little man plays both games. The minecraft is fitting for this coral once you have seen it. Best name idk. Long wierd bubble volt structured vesicles like the game yes. Toxic yellow and purple on top yes.
Just waiting for a fortnite coral to emerge if there already isn't one.
I'd like to see a better minecraft coral?

Nah I’m not that creative. I think the name you came up with is fantastic. My little brothers used to live for Minecraft until they discovered Terraria.

Got it last Jason Fox live coral sale so I cant claim it and from what I've lacked to discover due to history search on the coral anywhere no one else can either. I've heard a lot seen some more but nothing like it.
I particularly like it. I have several of the bounces. And all kinds of an assortment of mushrooms it is by far the healthiest, fastest growing hardiest coral I have.

Shrooms are highly resilient. I have some that I wish would die. I scrape them to the rock and not only does it grow back, 6 more appear beside it! It's a never ending battle. I ended up turning the rocks upside down. Eventually they will detach and I'm hoping they end up in the sump sock filter.

I'm hoping otherwise here but thank you sir. Mom is going to be ok just hoping the cut turns around.
I scrap all the shrooms I dont want immediately. What kinda shrooms you keeping?

Quick update here.
Mom is doing well and on her way to recovery!

Cut is still looking a little deflated however vesicles are a bit inflated.

Dont believe I'm going to be cutting this mushroom again!

What are some alternatives you all are using to frag your mushrooms?
