Did I screw up? I totally screwed up!

I read the instructions for the phytoplankton wrong and added half a gallon of phytoplankton to my 120 and the pods! Instead of 4 oz. I did a water change and I hope it clears up by tomorrow also I let my skimmer go crazy! I also know I’m not the first person to make this mistake lol!

It will be fine. The water change wasn’t necessary. I regularly add more than a half gallon to my 150. I’ve added a full gallon and all it does is fuel beneficial microfauna.

Also I spilled some of the plankton water and then I accidentally sat in it!

Personally, I don’t see how adding 4 oz to more than 100 gallons of water would do much. The little critters have to find the phyto to benefit from it. It’s a concentration of 1/3200

Great news it cleared up quickly and I added more pods!
