Did lobo attack???

I had this lps coral (I think it was a grape coral, looked kind of like a super mini torch) right next to my lobo. Today the grape coral is dead and seems to have a clear substance on it as if super glue gel was very thickly applied on top of it... it's strange looking.. did my lobo attack it in some way? Thanks!

Lobos usually put their sweepers out during the night. I would say that it stung it pretty good, you should never have anything that close to a lobo anyhow.
Move it away, it might pull it off.
