Did my handyman build this stand correctly?

I followed the advice from professionals such as no weight sitting on the screws, no nails, etc. and gave it to him, he has built a few stands before, here is a vid of it

he did a very well job, personally, I would've lined up all the corners and middle pieces to make it the same height on all sides.

Your handyman likely made it slightly shorter so you can hide the piece of plywood which is also great!

I made a similar stand for a 55-gallon cube using similar screws a while back and I trust this stand with my life lol

That is a proper stand design. If you are wondering if the center brace is correct, it is.
