An octopus's diet consists of crustaceans. Probably would have been a good thing to recearch its diet. In the aquarium they will eat fish as well.

Thanks.

Thanks Alex.
You never be rude but kind.

I am novice for reef tank so many things need to know.
I just set my tank up two weeks ago.

Even I didn't know what it is until you made me known. Because I bought it on one late night from local guy. Actually it was free stuff because I was waiting him more than two hours at his house. I bought some corals and yellow tang from him. When he gave me this, he call this octopus. So I just trust him never doubt it. Since I put the green brittle star in my tank I barely seen this because he or she always hide himself beneath rock.
One day I saw his whole body and little doubting what his identity. Because he has no head like normal octopus.

Now I clearly know what is this because you made me known this.

Thanks again Alex.

:) Yeah green brittles and pretty mean when they get big. They will actually get up on their legs and form a trap for fish to swim into. so beware.
