Hello. Ok so. Week & half ago i noticed one of my mushroom corals thats was size of a quarter was nothing left but a small sliver in the crack of the rock it was on. I suspected and feared was my flame angel. Been keeping an eye out. So 5 days ago i walk by and my starfish is literally on top of my small paly frag. I thought oh he is crawling by no biggie. Well they haven't opened up since. And today the heads look as if they are drying up and disappearing. Before seeing the starfish they were open all day everyday and made 1 new heads. Im very sad. So is it possible the starfish ate them? Ill attach pic of the starfish and the frag on the rock closed up. They already look worse than when i took this pic 1 day ago though. They look like they're drying away [emoji19]

They told me this kind is reef safe at the store. I looked it up and it said online it wass too but i cant remember the name for nothing

Reef safe just means they are most the time okay. There are the rogue ones that forgot they are suppose to be reef safe.

Double triple check what those stars eat. If you don't have any of that, it'll probably eat anything.

I can confirm my blue linkia ate two Sunkist mushrooms. Sat right on top and went to town. Left melted mushroom mush behind.
