guys, as the subject states, didn’t take long. Long story short, I was emptying water into the disolay tank from my reactor with carbon and apprx 1 table spoon made it to the DT. They were somehow above the sponge so I didn’t notice. Now I have bunch of black carbon over sand. Few questions:

1. I assume they dont eventually dissolve. So, should I remove them? If so, how?
2. Can they cause harm? I dont have any fish or corals yet, just started cycling.
3. Leave them in DT and hope they get buried and disappear?

Thanks guys.

Won’t hurt anything and you can just syphon it out when you do a water change

Perfect, thanks, hopefully they are lighter than sand as currently they are sitting at the bottom of the tank.
