died Tomini Tang

I woke up this morning before the reef tank lights turned on. I saw my tomini tang swimming funny. It is swimming face down or swimming at a weird angle. It would then take long rests in the top of the tank or on bottom. Getting worried I hurried set up my 10 gallon quarantine tank and put her in there. After doing a quick search I concluded that it is a swim bladder issue, but I wasn't certain. Just in case I used Microobe-lift herbtana. It seemed to helped, for about an hour it was swimming better. But it kept struggling. Unfortunately later in the day around 8:00, passed away...
I checked my parameters and everything seemed okay and all the other fish and coral in the tank is doing really good. Also yesterday it was acting it's usually self and eating.
Can any tell me what happened to my tang or what i did wrong?

Hi, welcome to Reef2Reef!

We can't really tell much from a photo after death. Symptoms leading up to that time are most important. It is rare for a fish to die in less than a day with no symptoms at all. When that happens, it is usually due to some mechanical injury.

More likely, this fish had an elevated breathing rate that you just didn't notice. This can be due to water quality issues or gill disease. Since you have corals in the tank, it isn't likely to be a water quality problem.

What other fish are in the tank?
How long did you have this tang?

I see what may be dots or pimples on the skin but can also be post-death and not pre-existing. As Jay indicated, awefully hard to assess cause of death especially after 2 hours of death when the skin turns pale

I have a silver belly wrasse, a pj cardinality, a pink bar prawn goby, and 3 chromis. Right now all the fish are swimming around not breathing rapidly and is eating. Also I had the tang since last November.
I do have a picture of it while it was alive yesterday. Sorry for the glare, these are not good pictures.
