Apparently, scolies will grow new heads when the inner parts of the skeleton are exposed to the water. Maybe that's how the little mini head started growing on yours?

Wow I didnt have time to actually read the article earlier but after reading that I kinda wanna try myself
But, after reading that I'm not convinced its what i'm seeing on mine since mine is not coming out at all looking like another scoly. Just looks like a translucent bubble. T got a new phone yesterday. I'll let her take some new pics and see what you guys think.

Flatworm exit will take care of the platys in the 2nd pic. @Lost in the Sauce and I have recently successfully battled and won.Some of the yuck(don't tell Rich, he doesn't want you to see this):
Siphon out as many as you can first. Yeti straw with silicone end works great shoved into some hose.

I still think I see a mouth in the little one, however the big one is at too much of an angle for me to see.. But it does look like it's growing towards the light, so that's a good sign!Ok, best I could do with all the yuck in our frag/QT tank
Also, the bubbles retracted after messing with things around it....
Darn, I may have to try that scoly trick on one of my Cynarina to grow my broodstock! It should be able to work, since they are related, but I don't know if I want to try it yet...
