We just had a disaster,.... with our Oceanic BioCube. A lot of the silicone around the bottom started leaking the last two days, then it became worse today. We took out all the new rock, live sand and a fish that got done cycling last week and found that the bottom glass was cracked. Was surprised it did not exploded. It could have been worse as we only have a few corals and one fish. I don't know why it happened, it's had water in it for two months now.
The stand was level.
Now were looing at a new cube and don't have much to spend on one, but right now Dr. Foster and Smith has the Coralife 29g on sale for. $194, shipped.
Like the broken one, I will not use the hood as were using our Kessil 150w Sky Blue, our Cadlights nano skimmer and the Media Basket media and fuge towers.
I like the rimless, "all in one" setups like on Ebay from a guy that makes all kinds of tanks, frag tanks, sumps etc.... Glass Holes and others, but their a lot more expensive !
So my question is, what's the differences between the two ?
