I'm interested in getting this 80 gallons AIO from IM as an upgrade from my Nuvo 40 but I couldn't find any youtube video on the newer model v2, most of them are dated to 6+ years ago. Anyone has any idea what changed? or what did they improve on? And are they generally a good tank? Or any insights before I throw a significant amount of money for it?

I'm not sure what changed, but I picked up an SR-80 pro 2 a month or so ago, and it is probably one of the best built tank/stand that I've seen. For $1700 shipped, it's a steal. Add some Jebao scp's on each end, lights and an ATO and you're ready to reef. I bought the Tunze ATO and Tunze DC skimmer to go with it also. I love it.

I've had my SR 80 pro up and running for a little over a year now. I've had other IM tanks and I'm pretty sure the only difference is the adjustable flow gates and the emergency overflow and that's it. However I did change the pumps out to a single 1200gph pump instead of using the two included. The mighty jets are great pumps but I just didn't want 2 pumps to clean and maintain. I now use them for UV pumps in another system.

I thought about going to one pump, but I like redundancy with pumps. If one fails while I'm gone, the other will keep the flow until I get home to fix it.
