Difference Between Rock Sp 4000 and Rock Dsp 4000 Pumps?

Title pretty much says it all. Besides a $70 price difference, I can't find much.

I'd take a guess and say that the DSP4000 is a DC pump (read in product description) and the SP4000 is an AC pump (based on my SP2000 that's not a DC pump)

Whats the difference between AC and DC? Is there a quality difference?

DC runs cooler, and with less electricity used. Whether those are an advantage........
