Difference in rabbitfish?

Was lookin at foxface rabbit fish was wondering what's the real difference in the foxface lo , onespot , and magnificent beside color

The one spot stays at about 7 inches I believe while the other two get bigger- around 9 or so

Oh boy, its rabbit fish christmas today. Beside a possible difference in size the there isn't much notable difference. Some even claim that the foxface lo and one spot foxface are the same varity of fish and the spot is just a geograpical variance. You should check out tongan foxface fish, they are black and bicolor foxface fish.

For home aquarist perspective the care of foxfaces is the same regardless of species. They are peaceful, excellent at eating algae, though may nip at corals in rare instances when hungry, and possess venomous spines.

I actually had to remove my One spot due to LPS nipping....he was fine for over a year and then snapped lol.

I have a ~8" Magnificent.. He's been a model citizen and hasn't picked on coral, or anything noticeable.. They are very slow and methodical in my opinion. They are prone to bullying as well, mine used to get harassed by my achilles until I moved the Achilles to another tank. They are really great fish.

I would think you'd enjoy any of the species equally. Go for the one you like the most.
