Are there any risks in keeping different types of anemones in the same tank ? For Example keeping a RBTA with a seabae ? Thanks

My hells fire is in one corner and my bta is in the other. They didn't like to be close to each other lol
:-)

I have a bta, haddoni, 2 rock flower nems, and a large sebae in the same tank with no issues at all. The sebae stung the bta so I moved it. The sebae and rock flower sit on top of each other with no issues. The haddoni will sting anything it touches so I kept it separate. Just gotta know your nems and keep them apart when needed.

On the other big forum there is a lot of discussion about this topic. It is recommended to avoid mixing carpet, magnificent, and other anemones. The idea being that they will slowly release chemicals over time to kill each other.

I have a sebae about a foot across that was about 3 inches away from a large group of RBTAs. They never bothered each other. If they're not happy they'll move.
