I don't know. It would be interesting to see some real aquarium uptake rate data for the organics we use.
I'd be somewhat surprised if any are notably faster than acetate/vinegar. I can certainly imagine some that might be slower if many fewer organisms naturally consume them. Say, longer chain alcohols.
Maybe if someone buys some and describes the smell, we can try to identify what Triton is using.
