Currently have a Golden Head Goby in my 90 gallon tank. Any problems if I bought a firefish goby for same tank? I have ample amount of live rock, just didn’t know if they still might find each other and get aggressive.

Firefish and Mandarins are often called Gobies, when in fact they are actually Dartfish (Firefish) and Dragonets (Mandarins). The point is that Firefish aren't really a goby and even so they are totally different and occupy a different part of the tank than the sleeper so they should work just fine.

Ahh! Good to know! Well in that case, I plan on trying to get a foxface one day should I hold off on the firefish? I don’t know too much about either fish, simply going off the caution safety chart on liveaquaria.

I have 2 fire fish in with my banded stripe and he doesn't even give them a second look. Fire fish are in the family but so vastly different that I think its safe

I'd get the firefish first. They are pretty timid and should be given enough time to acclimate. A foxface would be no problem though, they aren't usually aggressive[emoji3]

The firefish and golden head sleeper will be fine together. I wouldn't expect any issues from the foxface either, ours doesn't mess with anything that isn't aggressive towards it (our angel and tang both get into stand offs with it as they jockey for head of household).

What kind of tang and angel do you have?

Yellow tang and a coral beauty but it doesn't really matter, all of them are semi aggressive so they'll always jockey for position. It doesn't get physical but they posture on occasion. Actually, I take that back; the angle did bite at the tangs scalpel a few times early on when the tang was getting really aggressive (angels rarely hesitate to fight back).
