Different Thread Types.

Rookie mistake. The bulkheads I got and the pvc male adapters seem to be two different Thread types (NPS and NPT respectively), which do not form a perfect fit, and thus an imperfect seal.

I don't seem to be able to easily locate NPS pvc, so my question is, is it even a big deal for this to be on the wet side of the bulkhead, or no?

For reference, that's as far as I can easily thread by hand, maybe another half turn if I really force it.

It's never just easy, is it? There's always something.

Some reading on google suggest you should be okay as long as you use some thread sealer on the fitting
