can i put differnt anemomes in same tank i have 2 bta,s was woundering about lta or condys carpets if they can all be in same tank 55g

To my knowledge if you have the space you shouldnt have problems, I have a condy and a bta in my 20gal nano and havent had any issues.

In most cases it's fine. You can run carbon if you're not already doing so, as it can limit the amount of allelopathy between anemones.

am i reading corrtly so bta and lta have nothing in box so there not compatable?

and thank you for spread sheet if lta and bta cant be together then i will just stick to bta's

I don't recommend using that chart -- it's inaccurate and doesn't fully explain why some nems should or shouldn't be kept together. Here are my reasons:

Anemone Compatibility Spreadsheet!

Nothing in the box means that there isn't evidence supporting either way.

This is precisely why I don't think the chart is effective at spreading usable information. Most people will look at it and assume the answer is "yes" or "no" when the reality is that there are so many factors.

I do ! I have green bta loads of roses a mini maxi plus a Ritteri . Two clowns loving them all . All in a Nano , running carbon full time and a weekly water change .

i like thats what am goin for i am waitin for my bta to split hasnt yet its a foot across had him 7 months or so now idk i have a small bta hes orange lookn for somthing with a red color

I have a LTA and a BTA in the same 20 gal nano tank and the only issue that I have had is that the LTA occasionally takes a walk. This seems to be a common trait in the LTA from what I have read by others with LTAs. I am working on another setup and plan to separate these two because they are growing quite large and I would like to get others. I have to say that there are lots of advice about anemones that should not be taken as a hard and fast rule. Every 'nem and every tank is different. I do run carbon to offset any chemical warfare that may occur.

Yep, I read that too. The carbon should minimize the chemical warfare. Here is a pic of mine. I also target feed these guys small pieces of raw shrimp a couple of times a week. The LTA in the back corner, the BTA as close to the light as possible. Not good with pictures :(

good pics hard to get for me my other fish swim in the way all the time
