Anybody running these lights ever make one or buy one? If your not running these lights, have you made your own diffuser? Any tips? I love my lights, but would love to put a diffuser on them.

not particularly at the moment, but my coral isn't big yet. I'm a little worried about the shadowing that led is known for. Trying to avoid some of that down the road.

Unless the tank is underlit it seems like that shouldn't be a problem with these lights.

That's supposed to be the reason they were designed with the reflectors they have...at least to my understanding.

There are lots of good ideas for diy diffusers in other threads tho if you just want to try it out. @atoll has a good one, if I recall correctly. @saltyfilmfolks has done some experimenting too. :)

Pretty much anything you can cut and attach really. In general the lighter the diffusion the better. Some are very thick and you can lose a lot of light

Well now I'm thinking I need to not do anything with it. I got a hold of a friends par meter last night and am thinking I need to leave them alone as far as a diffuser goes. I know they don't cut down on a ton of par but i'm riding the edge at the moment. Maybe down the road I'll add a third then do it.
