What material are companies/DIY folks using for light diffusers? I've read of people using the acrylite satinice, is this what most are using, anyone using something else?

I’m using drop ceiling light diffuser’s.

what size do you need?

I’ve tried a couple of different option to get rid of the Kessil shimmer, none worked.

What did you use? forget size I am just interested in material.

I used a theatre gel and a small piece of polycarbonate plastic which was sold as diffuser plastic, tbf the gel took a bit of the shimmer away but not enough.

I asked the size as if it’s just a small piece you need, say for a Kessil, buying the Radion diffuser for the new G5 lights could work, and cutting to size.

Good to know, I'm also hoping to get shimmer down to a minimum, just a little is perfect

I found those translucent plastic sheet from craft store that look basically the same as the sheet in Radion diffuser. It works well.

Oh and nearly forgot, I was going to try the Kessil diffusers they made for the AP700 Kessil s, but they have been discontinued, you maybe able to still find a pair, I couldn’t.

I got the Radion diffuser today and it significantly reduces the shimmer, still some there but maybe 75% reduced.
