Oh I see. Just tried it with box checked and unchecked and both times I got a 32769 error message

That is wrong port.

It say to use port 25. I don't know how old the info is, but I have seen it several places. Also some internet provider will block port 25.

I will see if I can connect my NET up to my router tomorrow. I have to remove the RKE head unit from my stand to get a system running with the NET. The NET cannot be used with my Archon. I will see what kind of luck I have. It has been almost 3 years since I had the NET in use. At that time I did not have an issue with using the time warner email server.

i gave you instructions in pdf it should just work, and use port 80 you can change it later but just get it going, try that

OK, I could not get it to work with either gmx or gmail. It does work with my Time Warner account. So I know it still works. I even got a gmx email account just to try this without any luck. gmx must have changed somthing. You might see if they can shead light on this. The NET does not support SSL if that is required now.

Weird. I emailed gmx and they sent me this.

Try server: pop.gmx.com and port: 110 . That just worked for me.

Well it said it was successful in the NET module, but so far I have not received an email. I did receive on when I had it setup for time warner. I then used SMTP and not POP3.

I guess POP doesn't error but does not send the email either. I know I used smtp on time warner and not pop.

Time Warner is where I get my internet service. It is the cable company.

Use juno. Gmx doesn't work sometimes, including for me. They will block your outgoing to reef keeper after a few successful attempts if not right away.

Juno works as long as you login and actually use the account every 60-90 days

I got a reply from Eric on the email issue. They are working on a fix to get the NET to work again. It has something to do with the authentication code being sent. I guess gmx and gmail changed up their security. Now I guess the NET needs a change to be compatible.
