Curious to hear who is running the NET module and some feedback on how you like it?

Specifically looking for directions and other equipment requirements to run the NET module.

I am not currently running it but I have in the past. I think it worked well and is worth the money. I had mine hard wired in my fish room through my wall directly into my router. I had to open a port on my router but after that I never had a problem. The support forum on the DA site is the best place to go for help.

I'm running two of them and I like them. You just need to forward a port to the device and depending on your ISP you should be able to access it with ease. I have DSL and have to call them to port forward from my modem which is a pain.

do you direct connect the NET module to your modem via ethernet cable or does it communicate wirelessly?

It's basically an wireless access point that talks to the wireless router. You plug the net in the repeater and then the repeater talks to the router. It's like making the NET a wireless device.

Booya, exactly what Im looking for. Are they expensive? Fairly easy to set up or what? Thank B

Well mine are cheaper because I buy cheaper linksys routers and put a linux based OS on them to turn them into repeaters. You can usually buy access points or even universal gaming adapters for $60-80. The gaming adapter essentially does the same thing.
