I got an RKL from a site sponsor, and so far DA has the worst support I have found in aquaria. I have been trying to reach them for over 2 weeks with a problem on my system, and no word back. Anyone else have these issues?

Never had a problem ever with them always helped if needed and always answered phone.

Do you have a contact number you could pm to me, called 3x a day for the last couple weeks, and no answer no call back, left 4 emails, my controller is useless

They say right on there site they prefer email.. My temp probe went out. Sent an email they asked 3 questions I tried it all and 3 days later a new one came UPS.. I'd send htem a email and see if you get better answer that way. They might even call you if you ask,

Or better yet tell us the issue and maybe someone on here can help.

I have already posted to their forums, and sent emails. I ordered my RKL, and it arrived the day after I went out of town for a month. When I got home and opened the package, there wasn't an itemp probe in the box. Been trying to reach them ever since in every way possible, Facebook, their forums, email, phone calls. I found the issue after the 30 day return period had lapsed, so the vendor won't do anything. Now I am stuck with an expensive paperweight.

what issues are you having other than them not answering the phone which is weird you figure that is the life line to sales? I have used DA controllers luckily without any issues and going on my third unit...knock on wood

Worst case you pop anther $25 for a probe. The vendor should of been cooler than what they were. I know paying another $25 would suck, but not the end of the world. Have you tested everything else?

No, everything is still wrapped up like the day I got it. If I can't do the basic heater function, it isn't worth the time to hook it all up.

I have a head unit, 2 pc4, sl1 and a sid, and a couple cables. Can't monitor PH, can't monitor temp, can't do anything. After paying $270, I am not spending another dollar, that would put me at $300 and still no support. If I can't reach anyone by Friday it is going on eBay, and I will get a controller with some support.

Looks like to me you have 2 choices. You sell it with out the probe and get some of your money back, buy another probe from somewhere else. This really sucks, but Since you were out of town put you self in the vendor shoes. Not sure what the issue DA is I've found there service to be top notch.

It was a vendor issue that caused the delay. Was supposed to be 2 day delivery, but sent ground instead. For everyone who gets great support can you call whatever number you have and see if you.get anyone?

PM me your address and I will send you an iTemp probe. I don't work for DA but I have been a beta tester for them ever since they first released the Elite. I have a few temp probes and would be happy to send you one to get you up and running.

Thank you Dave Morris. Most expensive thing I have ever purchased for my aquarium, it has been frustrating.
