I don't see a range, and nothing that indicates it being wireless, so i guess it comes down to how much telephone cable you have

I was under the impression that you couldn't use telephone cable with these.

you are absolutely right, Ive never looked into extending the wires on my RKL but now i know if i do not to use phone cable but to use RJ12 straight cables
