My original concept involved a manifold.... it was super heavy so super hard time trying to figure out the install

Unfortunately I'm still lost with the plumbing. Not sure exactly what the best configuration should be for the long run.

Oh I've had no issues at all. I did paint with killz 2 to seal the wood first tho. I think that helps a ton with moisture and all.

Pretty sure it's 1/2"? I already had it laying around. The 2x4 is doing most of the weight tho... the board was just to have an even surface.

So I decided to invert the plumbing manifold.

Added cycled bio balls from before... and added aquamaxx reactors to the manifold. Went with a carbon reactor and a biopellet reactor. Due to my stocking list... different types of nems (carbon) and first time trying bio pellets (was using GFO before) we'll see if biopellets work better long term for phosphates?

Reeftmat500 up and running... loving it! It's a great device, so far like it better than the klir. Easier to set up. Highly recommended. It's just a bit large.
