Somone is wanting to trade for my orange polyp digitata. (branching) Is there some way to actually ship this thing without it becoming 500 frags in the process?

How large? Oversized bags, lots of water, good styro to float the piece with ...and a good amount of prayers. :)

Sometimes good to check with the buyer as many times they are getting a large piece to frag...in which case you may could help them :)

Best of luck, Bryan

I get larger SPS colonies shipped in Big bags just like Bryan was stating. Cut a circle in some styrofoam. Rubberband the colony to the styrofoam. When you place in the bag the colony will be floating upside down. Place an empty plastic bag inside the bag with water so the colony does not move that much. Breakage is is minor to none with this method.

i have also shipped digi damp in a paper towel, then fill the bag up with air and you have a somewhat protected digi.
