It's been 2 months since I got rid of my montipora cause of nudibranchs. I've been sps free for 2 months and I'm wondering if I can add digitata to my tank now

Not too much is known about their full lifespan, but I’d imagine that they’d starve pretty quickly without any montis. I read that the fallow for the nudis is roughly three months. You could always add some natural predators such as a wrasse to deal with them as well.

Most people go fallow of montis for 2-3 months after a nudibranch infestation, so you're on the minimum of what's recommended. Adults can go quite some time without food which is why so much fallow time is required. Hopefully you made sure to scrape/remove any encrusted parts of montis from your rocks as that can serve as a reservoir for them and is probably the main reason why fallow periods fail for some people. Sometimes its really hard to see or remove all the encrusted bits of monti from a rock.
Best way to find out is to put a few inexpensive monti frags in an inspect them closely every few days for the next few weeks.
