Do you have a picture? there a lot of hydroids. Some do best with lasers, aiptasiax and covering with putty and or super glue. Some just go away after a time or can go away by changing food,. Some may need chemical irradication

google aiptasia laser. the youtube vids are pretty fun. Depending on type and level of infestation theres a chem to kill them.
IMO and I haven't had them all, a lot of them go away as there usually isnt enough for them to eat. Is normal to see them pop up in newer tanks because if this.

Thanks. Tank is around 8 months old. They are mainly towards the rear love rock, however over the last 5 week or so they have multiplied like no tomorrow. I had around 5/6 together, must be 15/20 now all over. I'm conscious as I collect high end zoas and don't want them stinging them.

What's the chimical called please, I will try the laser route first but failing that !.

Salty my man, I don't have solutions for hydroids. I've had hydroids, but never really intervened besides in my breeding tanks. The only suggestion I have is to manually control them and step up general maintenance. If your feeding your coral small particulates of food, you may want to re-evaluate that, as you're feeding the hydroids as well. If you tank is new, wait it out. I don't medicate for something like this, but I know others can guide you through that process. I would just reach in there and pluck them off.
