Hey everyone-
So I've 99% confirmed i have digitate hydroids in my tank. I think they are bothering a few corals, and the more I look, the more i see.
Anyone come across any solutions?

I have heard that they tend to go away on their own how old is the tank ?

Best bet is to use some kind of reef epoxy and smother it out. Don't worry about how the epoxy looks after you set it, it will get covered up with coraline algae soon enough. Take care of it ASAP.

I heard that too, but was hoping someone could help accelerate the process... I’m going to add a second set of filter socks to my sump to try to starve them..,
My tank is about 14 months old.

I wish I could- the more I look the more I see. I have vermetid snails too so I thought I was looking at them...But now I realize they’re different. Kind of snuck up on me.
