Dimmable vs non dimmable t5 fixture ?

I’m looking to buy a fixture. What do you guys think?

Don’t get a dimmable for the inhabitant. They don’t care. If you want it, that’s a different story.

If you go with dimmable remember that new bulbs cannot be dimmed when you just get them.

In fact, they should be burned-in for 48 hours straight...per ATI.

I would personally skip dimmable

I have a DX18 and like it. You do need to burn the bulbs at 100% for 50 hours prior to dimming for best life. I replaced my closet fixture with a T5 and use it for breaking them in. Easy to configure your schedule with an Apex.

I'd go with the dimmable. It's nice to be able to control the intensity of the channels.
