Sold to me as predator zoas. I believe these are hawaiin ding dangs. This is a rather big deal, as I am not going to buy higher end corals from someone who can't id their live stock. What do you all think?

Definitely Hawaiian Ding Dang. He played you like a fiddle
nah, the price tag was 10 per. which sounds right for ding dangs. I just will not buy anything else he has. He had a small rock covered in orange yuma for 500. Called them Godzilla bounce. At least I know not to buy them. I don't think they are.

Plus 1 on the ding dangs. Its a shame we have such an amazing community yet there will always be a bad egg. Smh . Sorry you went through this. If you aren't sure , just google it a minute. Good luck!

It was a fish store over an hour drive. I was after ding dangs. The color wasn't showing in his tank. He lied and called them predators. At 10 per head, I didn't care. I don't trust him and wont buy there again. I wasn't going to drop a dollar on anything that seemed over priced. He is at a bigger loss than me.

It just sucks. I don't have anyone with in an hour to browse and shop with. It's mostly online.

over an hour drive there, not worth the gas at this point. The trip was expensive.
We have 3 really nice shops in St. Louis all within a few miles of each other. If you find yourself with that kind of time then it’s worth the trip. Probably about 1:45-2 hours from Springfield. Just a suggestion :)

Where are you in IL? Down state?

springfield, nothing but small shops.
Yeah, I understand. I know folks down by Litchfield and there's not much unless you go down to St. Louis. Even Corner Reef moved from Columbia. It's nice to be able to browse but if you are open to shipping I've bought and sold from plenty of folks in and around the area, shipping is usually $25 or less.
