New reefer. Reefing 1 1/2 years. Parameters alk 9, cal 430, mag 1280, nitrates 11, phosphate 0.05. Possibly Dino’s need help to ID . Also if UV will help with these type of Dino’s?

Well, to me it looks like Prorocentrum. Do you have a sample with more than just one? Take a look at the attachment. See if you agree.

I was thinking prorocentrum also just wasn’t 100% sure. Do you think a UV will help?
 
TSA did a video at one point on this. Not sure but might be of some help.

 
Yeah. What convinced me was the thicker membrane. With that kind, you've got to.shock it into the water column. In the note field it states to black out your.tank for 2 days (if it were me, I'd go three), then run UV.

I just bought a UV gonna install it this week. Thanks for your help. Appreciate it
 
Hello prorocentum defeat with UV but maybe try a blackout for help she need a little help for up in the water column
