dino diatoms or nothing.. see pics

So my GHA I hit with Reeflux this weekend. Got a bit longer and stringy two days later... today it took piece under the microsope. .. brushes off. Wondering if die off or dino's see pics and let me know your thoughts.. thanks

Yes, it appears you have dinos by those scope pics. I am not exactly sure the type as the pics are difficult to see the structures very clearly. Maybe @taricha can help to identify better.

Dino for sure. Requires blackout for 3-5 days, uv sterilizer OR Dosing of hydrogen peroxide at 1ml per 10 gallons at night and .5ml of liquid bacteria also at night. I fought a bad case easily

Yes. Appears to be Ostreopsis. I battled some a couple months ago and it seems they popped back up. I dose NO3 and PO4, daily removal, and run a UV sterilizer. Knocked them out in a week. Hope it goes as quick this time.

Man o man. I took skimmer and uv off line to do a run of reflux to kill off the gha. Added some vibrant bottled bacteria and theeee days later boom. With a vengeance. Covered all my rock. Crazy how quick it spreads

The vibrant probably bottomed out your phos / nitrates and caused the dino outbreak.

wow... nice pics.. My conspic angle ,,,is not eating and is kinda hanging in the dark areas of the tank.. Hoping it will pass.. all other fish eating fine..
