I recently had ostreopsis ID'd in my display tank and small cell amphinidium in my frag QT.

I installed a 55w Lifeguard inline with my return for my Reefer 750.

Some corals started looking better (like the hammer opening up better than it has in months). However, the sand started getting progressively brown and my chaeto initially melted away. There's a little chaeto left and it seems to have stopped melting away.

Can someone help ID what's dinos are in the tank now from these videos? Seems like I could have a couple of types.

Doesn't look like a dino to me. Looks like one of these cryptomonad types.
cryptomonas (phycokey)

Oh, I think that's good yeah? Would these start to take over b/c the dinos got killed off? Is this something I just ride out? I had some microbacter7 I was considering shooting into the sand.

One other thing. In the video, Untitled 3, the smaller organisms circling about, is that also the cryptomonad?

I can try for a higher magnification, if that helps.

Those aren't really a problem. They show up and go away. Not a long-term persistent harmful bloom.

The other super tiny circling cell is probably some other kind of ciliate/flagellate of no concern.

so good news.
