Hi All,

Can someone help me identify which dinos I have. I think they're the ostreopsis, but they don't move a whole heck of a lot, especially when in their mucus. It also doesn't seem to leave the rockwork entirely at night, there's still plenty of strands on the backwall and some on the rockwork all night long.

Ostreopsis. This one is very treatable with an appropriate sized and plumbed UV. 1 watt/3 gallons of display volume. I've found it works best if you plumb it from the tank (with a dedicated pump) with flow 1-3 x tank volume/hour. Remember it's temporary so don't be upset how it looks.....it looks better than ostreopsis and the dead coral it often causes.

Be sure and run GAC also. Ostreopsis is the most toxic of dinos IMO.
