Took a few pictures of some bacterial growth under a microscope today to see whether they are dinos or just diatoms. Comments and suggestions appreciated.

Last pic is Dino’s, golden type, move off the sand at dark, reattach when lights on.
Dino-x works on all golden stuff.
UV is very helpful during dark hours.

what magnification was this?
 
I thought I saw the “beaks” of amphidinium in the last pic. The sandbed color makes me think amphidinium as well. Let’s see if @taricha is around.

agree with this. Beaks and slight left/right asymmetry. Large cell amphidinium.
 
I forgot to mention to look at the bottom of the pages of that document for those two species and they my help you figure out which you have based on things like how much mucus there is, etc.

Keep in mind that you had an ID from the Dino expert.
