Hello
Looking for opinion. Dino or Cyano
It’s brownish and blackish. I see air bubbles on the glass. It’s came out of no where nearly a week ago.
A home have experience with Dino X?
Also corals are ticked off.

Whats your feeding schedule? More fish more food. Run fuge 16 on 8 off and most of this junk will grow elsewhere besides display.

If it is dark brown or black almost always it is dinos. Light brown to greenish are usually not.

If it it just on sand might be large cell amphidinium. Those usually don’t tick corals off. If you don’t have a microscope you might want to try the usual methods and see if they work.

You know UV, peroxide blackout and so on. However if it is indeed large cell amphidinium then other than black out rest don’t work since they don’t really release i to the water column.
