I realized to late where I went wrong. I decided to add a bio pellet reactor to my tank. This is not a bad thing but I did it before I really needed to. My nitrates where between 5 and 10 ppm. My phosphate was 1. After turning on the reactor both dropped to 0. I’ve turned off the reactor and hopefully things will bounce back on there own. I was thinking of dosing hydrogen peroxide if it gets worse. It’s not real bad yet. Hard not to panic. Any advice?

You have to raise nutrients. Start feeding more again. Also try to identify what type of Dino’s it is. There is a thread with all the info.

good luck. Dinos are a real pain! I ended up taking my skimmer and filter socks off line, dosing nitrates and phosphate, feeding more, adding pods (lots!), adding a UV, and doing the Dr. Tim's protocol before they finally went away. The interesting thing is even now, almost a year since i had dino issues, anytime i clean the sump out they flare up.
