Hello,
I'm pretty sure I have dinos and I don't have access to a microscope and buying one just for ID'ing them is sort of out of the question right now.
Is there any treatments that will work for the vast majority of them?
Something else I'm very confused about is what I should do with my fuge?
I have the fuge lights on around 6 hours a day, turning on right when dt lights go off. This has pulled all the nitrates out of the water. I've read that to deal with dino you should increase nutrients, but I've also read you should keep them low because they will feed off the nutrients. I've also read that you should increase them, and use chaeto to out-compete the dino. How do I increase my nitrates and then keep them up? Can I just feed heavier? Should I turn off my fuge for 2 days to let the nitrates build back up?
Also, if I do a blackout for a few days, what do I do with my fuge light? Should that be off as well for a couple days?
I feel like everything I read is so conflicting. Any advice is really appreciated
