Dino targeter idea?

For dino that dwell in sand bed could you take a pvc pipe and insert one of the cheaper uv bulbs from Amazon and then go section by section in the sand bed every x seconds?

The idea being you plunge the pipe into the sand bed with the pvc shielding the uv from the tank inhabitants but still exposing the sand to uv?

What's wrong with siphoning them out and correcting the situation that caused the dinos in the first place?

If only it was that easy. After manual removal they just keep coming back on the sand

Because you haven't corrected the issue which caused them to develop in the first place
