Dino threads

ok. With the amount of info and people looking for help is it possible to have an ID thread and then threads with peoples experience with each of the individual species? It seems to be a huge issue right now and I know we have the dino thread, but it is huge and a lot of stuff going on within the one thread.

I agree with this. Is there any #reefsquad member that can do this and maybe a #mods can sticky it? I would like to know the differences in them as well

@reeferfoxx is the absolute expert in ID and treatment. @dwest and @Paullawr are also very knowledgeable....expert level. I could summarize my experience with Ostreopsis and I have good pictures/video of them for ID but the other species I don't have experience with. It would be good to have an ID thread and then treatment articles/threads for each species.

Excellent idea @SteveO83 . The present thread is too large to be as valuable as it once was/should be.

This is a very good idea. Im also beginning to battle dinos. My dinos are Amphidinium. I was planning to chronologically detail my battle with them. I've been thinking of either starting a thread on my experience vs just adding it to my tank build thread. Im not sure how im going to proceed yet, but i have been keeping records of everything come so far as well as progress pics.

There is a specific thread for Amphidinium dinos... Good info there.

What I am dealing with too. Been trying to get my phosphates and nitrates up through feeding and no water changes. Started dosing for nitrates tonight
