I just started treating my125 with DinoX. As directions stated I manually removed what I could befor the first treatment. My question is , can I continue to manually remove what I can befor each dose or is that not advised. TIA

Continuing to manually pull what you can will help. It will reduce the amount of Dino you are trying to eradicate.
Also will reduce any toxins given of by the Dino’s as the diminish.
Keep updating. I am interested in how dino x works for you.
)..................comments and suggestions welcome!I'm curious to know what your po4 and no3 are after a dinox treatment. Have you tested since?Just completed the recommended 20 day treatment and I really think the Dinox seemed to stop working about the 6th or 7th dose. Continued to have patches of dinos but they never got better or cleared up. Talked to a few people that said give the tank a rest for a week or two and start another round of treatment. I think I will pass on that based the way my corals are starting to look. I am not sure what I will try next, perhaps bacteria or silica dosing.
That is surprising. ThanksSurprisingly neither one went way out of wack . po4 is .o8 and no3 is 15.
What were p04 and n03 before dosing dinox? This is important as dinos are usually found when a tank is lacking in n03 and p04.
Edit* most the actual cures are dosing or raising both. This is why water changes only make dinos worse. It's best to not change water for 6-8 weeks and use a refresh like microbactor7 or Dr tims, as well as get a good pod population going if you don't have any yet. How I finally cured dinos in my 20gal nano was to dump the skimmer cup back into the system and raise both and no water changes.
